Friendship Park
Friendship Park is located at the intersection of North Henry Street and Main Street. The park is dedicated to the memory of Beth Mitchell and Powell Hickman. Both were lost during a category F3 tornado that struck Stoneville on March 20, 1998. The tornado leveled many buildings in town, including the site of Friendship Park. The park property was donated by Elizabeth and Randall Shively.
In 2018 the Town commissioned a postcard style mural to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the tornado. The mural was designed and painted by Brandon Hardison, an artist and downtown business owner. Each letter of STONEVILLE represents a special aspect of the community.

Take a few minutes to relax and enjoy the peaceful sound of water flowing through the bronze sculpture of a carefree child and into a shallow pool. The classic design of the town clock, seasonal flowers and masonry seating completes this idyllic scene.
